Job Summary / Description
Panorama Technologies is seeking a skilled and reliable Technician to join our team in Luanda, Angola.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance and minimal downtime. The Technician will collaborate closely with the technical and engineering team to diagnose issues, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, and strictly adhere to quality, health, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, control panels, and related systems.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Efficiently identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues and equipment faults.
Testing & Commissioning: Conduct system testing, commissioning, and signal/loop checks to ensure complete system functionality.
Maintenance: Execute regular preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Strictly comply with company QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures and safety regulations.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and ensure accurate tracking of work performed and equipment status.
Team Coordination: Coordinate effectively with cross-functional team members to ensure projects and tasks are completed on time.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: ITI, Diploma, or B.Voc in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of electronic systems, instrumentation, and components.
Schematics: Ability to read, interpret, and work with wiring schematics, technical diagrams, and loop drawings.
Tools & Equipment: Working knowledge of electrical and electronic tools, multimeters, testing equipment, and measuring instruments.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, disciplined time management, and effective communication skills.
Requirements
Work Location: Willingness and availability to work full-time on-site in Luanda, Angola.
Language: English speaking is mandatory.
Culture: Strong teamwork orientation and capability to operate in a strict, safety-focused industrial environment.
