- The PLT® Solas set is the logical choice for vessels aiming to meet SOLAS regulations. It ensures compliance without any expiration date, staying with the vessel throughout its lifetime.
- Not classified as dangerous goods, it can be shipped globally by air.
- Takes up approximately the same space as a complete pyrotechnical set.
- The PLT® Solas Launching Unit operates on either 200 bars (2900 psi) or 300 bars (4350 psi), depending on national rules or available compressors.
- In Canada and the USA, national regulations demand the use of 200 bars (2900 psi) air cylinders.
- Refillable with compressed air, it has no expiry date.
- The specially designed PLT® Solas Projectile works seamlessly with the Launching Unit and Launching Tube.
- It comes pre-installed with 250 meters of 3.2mm Nylon Line.
- The line has a breaking strength of 2000N, and the projectile floats.
- When the line is dry and clean, the launching distance ranges from 230-250 meters.
- The PLT® Solas Set includes one Launching Unit, one Launching Tube, and four SOLAS projectiles.
