HLH 1,5 Automatic Release Liferaft Hook,SWL 1 500 kg

Purpose and Function:

• The HLH 1.5 hook is designed for lifting liferafts and Man-Over-Board boats with a total weight of up to 1,500 kg.
• It ensures secure attachment of the liferaft to the ship while at sea.
• The automatic release feature allows for swift deployment of the liferaft when needed.

Activation and Operation:

• To activate the automatic release facility, a liferaft occupant pulls a red knob downwards when the liferaft is just one or two meters above the water.
• When the liferaft is waterborne and the load on the hook is less than 30 kg, it opens automatically, enabling the liferaft to drift free and allowing the fall wire to be hoisted in.
• If conditions prevent automatic release, the HLH hook also offers a manual opening facility. A green grip on the hook can be pulled strongly to open it.
