- This software allows you to program various EPIRBs and PLBs, including:
- SafeSea E100/E100G
- rescueME PLB1
- rescueME EPIRB1
- By default, Ocean Signal beacons are shipped pre-configured with the Cospas-Sarsat serialized protocol and the MID (Maritime Identification Digits) of the country they are intended for.
- Authorized distributors and dealers can use this kit to configure or reconfigure beacons, changing the country code or protocol as needed.
- 701S-00654: Configuration Kit for SafeSea E100/E100G.
- Includes a user manual for E100/E100G PLB1 and EPIRB1 configuration.
- 701S-01320: Configuration Kit for rescueME PLB1 and EPIRB1.
- Designed for the rescueME series of beacons.
- Utilizes a low-cost label printer (Brother 2430PC) to print new UIN (Unique Identifier Number) labels for the PLB1 and EPIRB1.
- Important Note: Do not connect the printer until the software installation is completed.
- The kit includes a programming adaptor with a USB cable and a CD containing the configuration program installer.
- Place the installation disk in your CD drive and follow the installation instructions.
- After installation, plug the programming adaptor into a free USB port. Windows will install the necessary drivers.
