FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM INSTALLATION PROJECT 




1. APPRAISAL / COLLECTION OF INFORMATION 

  1. SITE VISIT to calculate VOLUME m3 of the space to be protected 
  2. Dimensions of the space L x B x H 
  3. Ventilation type In Space - Is it natural ventilation which cannot be CLOSED ? Is it forced ventilation such as Air conditioning system or Blower pump ... 
  4. How will the ventilation system be shut off/Switched OFF when the Fire Suppression agent is released into the protected Space ? 
  5. What type of equipment is present or stored in the space. - Which Fire Suppression agent will be best suitable for that type of equipment ? 
  6. Will the space have access for personnel ? people work in that space ? - this will decide what type of suppression system to be selected. 
  7. Alarm & Notification - Are local audio+visual Alarms required + a central Alarm system ? 
  8. SITE PLAN from customer, if available. 


2. PLANNING & QUOTATION 

  1. Identify which type product is suitable for the location 
  2. Which brand is suitable 
  3. Identify location of installation / Installation drawing preparation 
  4. Identify quantity of equipment to be used in the project 
  5. Product availability- Local products & Required Import products. 
  6. STANDARD PRODUCT -  will work ? 
  7. Customization of Product required ?  Contact Manufacturer 
  8. Specific training or product familiarization required ? 


3. EXECUTION / INSTALLATION 

  1. Product pre-delivery/installation testing and verification 
  2. Customer team meeting for product delivery & installation plan
  3. Pre-job Risk assessment on-site / PERMIT TO WORK system if applicable
  4. Verify All tools required available 
  5. Commence installation of product
  6. Confirm ALL ITEMS installed as per plan. 

4. COMMISIONING / MONITORING / TRAINING / HANDOVER 

  1. Testing & Verification of product / System working as per plan.
  2. Product manuals handed to customer, any modification required from the original manual ? 
  3. Final Installation Drawing to be handed to Customer 
  4. Training to Customer on use, Alarms & Notifications, Alarm Resets etc. 
  5. Issuance of Certificate or Service report for the project. 
  6. Delivery note signing by customer 
  7. Customer feedback Form signing by customer
